I'm totally sold in on luxury timepieces
Over the last three months I have fully succumbed to a timepiece obsession after selling the watch I’d worn almost every day for the past decade, planning to replace it with something smaller (or maybe a few smaller pieces). Since then, I’ve watched countless Diamond District vlogs, learned about the craftsmanship and watchmaker history through YouTube reviews, scoured Pinterest boards, visited ~3 stores a week, and tried on over 40 pieces.
Ultimately, I lucked out and found the perfect Jaeger-LeCoultre Ladies Reverso with the most darling pink face. I’d love to get the back engraved eventually, but for now, I just want to enjoy her for a few months.
This newfound obsession has made me fall even more in love with some inspiring female creators in the industry like Girls O’Clock, DIMEPIECE, and Watch By Juls, who’s expert-POVs were a guiding factor in my decision making. I think I felt most inspired by Trang of
’s beautiful gold Reverso.With that said, I wanted to share a shortlist of some of the most covetable watches I was considering on this search. Would love to know if any of you have these (and see photos if you do, hehe).
