October's Rotation Report: New, Not Yet, and No Longer
Hello to Tom Ford Gucci, on the horizon with Chan Luu, and a farewell to Prada... amongst others
NEW TO ME: The Row Soft Leather Loafers
Straight from the July Rotation Report wishlist, I have finally welcomed these grail shoes home after months and months (years) of pining.
I pre-ordered them from Bergdorfs and added their 15% first order discount (The Row isn’t excluded!), so they come out to just over $1,000. If you’re in New York, I highly recommend placing the order for pick up so you can still go in store, get a beautifully gift-wrapped bag with all the fixings, and bring it up to the shoe floor (I recommend the Noir room for added privacy… and sexy ambiance) to unbox for the full experience.
I’m a firm believer in focusing a majority of my investments into pieces I will wear multiple times a week, and every single person I have spoken to about these shoes has emphasized how insanely comfortable they are. After wearing them nearly every day for a month, I can attest that it’s true. Naturally, I petitioned the
chat for sizing support, and took a half size up from my normal TR size (40 —> 40.5).WISHLIST: Nordic Knots Bedding
Like many, I groaned in simultaneous pain and pleasure when I got the notification that Nordic Knots has expanded into bedding. Like everything they do, it’s perfect. I have my eye on the icy blue and champagne three piece sets.
NEW TO ME: The Row Signum Heels
In the same vein as the loafers, I’ve heard that the Signum Heels can comfortably travel its owner millleeessss without pain. I don’t ever buy high heels anymore because I want to be mobile (though I love to uber to a party and sit down once I get there…), so this was enough to convince me to buy them.
And the verdict is… I agree! Make sure you get a pedicure once yours ship out, because you’ll want to wear them immediately. The ones I’ve linked are seemingly the last pair on the internet. They’re worth it.
WISHLIST: Diana Milkanova Mia Coat
Like so many, this photo kind of changed my life and I’ve been unable to stop thinking about it. It’s of Diana Milkanova, wearing the Signature Mia coat from her namesake label (and a fabulous pair of Toteme heels on major sale). I’m completely pining for it in both colorways: black and beige.
NEW TO ME: TWP Peyton Top
This is my new favorite garment in my closet. I’ve been very attracted to a mens tuxedo shirt for years, but this reimagined version by TWP in a sexy, sheer silk is better than I could’ve ever imagined. You can bet that the entire back panel is sheer, too. I’m waiting for a tuxedo jacket to deliver that I intend to pair with it, and once it does… I can’t fathom the power!!! Photos of it styled on body coming soon in a holiday party dressing guide…
WISHLIST: Saint Laurent Clutch
I would love to add a nice elongated evening clutch to my handbag collection soon, and I believe the most classic option to be Saint Laurent. I found it on insane discount, but need to continue practicing patience (and humility) 🙏
NEW TO ME: Tom Ford Gucci Shoulder Bag
I picked up this goooorgeous Tom Ford-era Gucci bag from
’s NYC pop up after finding it kind of tucked away in the corner of the event. It was hanging on the back of a chair and I almost thought it was someone’s personal bag that they put down because it was so perfectly lived in (and hard to believe anyone would ever let it go).The wear on the leather is perfect, the chocolate brown color is perfect, the size is perfect. I’m so happy. Thank you TMD!! xx
WISHLIST: Chan Luu Wide Leg Taffeta Pants
Ok these are insane and I fear I am going to hyper fixate until they enter my closet. One of the chicest fabrics on the planet is a silk taffeta, especially in the format of a slightly oversized, non-form fitting, organic feeling garment. It moves beautifully, and, in this bronze color, reflects light in an incredibly special way. A perfect Holiday party piece, or easy throw on for dinner with a simple sweater and strappy heel (but big impact).
NEW TO ME: COS Cashmere Turtleneck
This is, by far, my favorite sweater in my collection (over my The Row…!). It’s perfectly oversized, has a stiff collar that doesn’t fold over itself, and is SO soft (again… rivaling my The Row Sibem). I want to wear it every day. A thick turtleneck with an updo, denim, bright skin, and a pointed toe boot is my favorite F/W look. I wear it multiple times a week.
WISHLIST: Liffner Belted Clutch Navy Croc
As an extension of my elongated clutch obsession, this new Liffner piece is really the best of all worlds. Navy happens to be my favorite color, and, when paired with an embossed/textured leather like croc, ostrich… magic happens. And did! Here. With this bag. I have an insane Dorsey ring on the way that would look psychotically luxe atop the hand carrying this clutch to dinner. Fingers crossed this outfit comes to fruition for Christmas.
NEW TO ME: Charvet Shirt
I’d had enough of everyone on this website talking about how amazing Charvet is (myself included) without trying one of their shirts for myself. I found this beautiful light blue button up on Poshmark for about $65 (there’s a bunch on eBay, too) and got perfectly lucky with the sizing. I need to give it a proper steam, but I’m planning to wear it with my navy corduroy pants and jacket set. Maybe even adding a monogram.
WISHLIST: The Frill Edit Tigré Signature Bolster
For those who don’t know, genuine Scalamandré Tigre fabric is incredibly expensive ($400 a pillow), so it’s been on the wishlist (and staying there) for a while. I found The Frill Edit and their version of the Tigré in the form of a long bolster pillow that isn’t nearly as atrociously priced. Rumor has it this is going on Black Friday sale… this author might just be buying one of her own x
NEW TO ME: Dorsey Clemence Necklace
For lovers of Elsa Peretti’s Diamond By The Yard (but not it’s price point), Dorsey’s Clemence is the perfect alternative (thank you
for the tip!!!).At it’s price point, it also makes for a really great gift. I may or may not have gotten an extra for this purpose. It’s been sold out for weeks, so take advantage.
WISHLIST: Santa Maria Novella Terracotta Diffuser
The chicest looking diffuser I have ever seen. I’m a huge fan of their shower & bath gel (having just used it an hour ago for a bubble bath), and know the brand to skip zero details when it comes to packaging and presentation. I’d love to keep one of these in my bathroom and kitchen.
Some of the products featured were generously gifted, but as always, my decision to share (or not share) is entirely my own. I try dozens of products and only highlight the ones I’d spend my own money on (and often do). If it’s here, it’s because I think it’s worth it.
RESELLING:
I talk a lot about what I’m buying, but I think it’s just as important to share what’s leaving my closet. Closet circulation is essential, not just for keeping things edited and wearable, but for giving back to the same secondhand economy so many of us shop from. It’s important to stay mindful, and letting go of pieces thoughtfully is part of the process.

What I love most about your rotation reports is how they read like a study in personal evolution — not just consumption. Each “new” piece feels earned, deeply considered, and aligned with your rhythm of wear. The Row loafers especially feel like a milestone moment — both timeless and utterly of now.
the sheer tuxedo shirt is so good! great finds, especially that coat—wow.
