When I saw how well you responded to the first edition, I knew there would have to be a part two (three…four…?) of Things Niche Luxury Chic Girls Are Obsessed With. Mosquito Studio’s Vega Comb
Mosquito Studio, a small Spanish brand that I’m only just realizing participated in the most perfect vintage curation pop-up in NYC with Merci, c’est vintage a few weeks ago (devastated to have missed… I may have actually pulled the trigger on this in person) has released the most fabulous hair fork I have ever seen. I have been completely enamored with hair forks lately, having purchased a few of my own from small brands on Etsy (see: here… the shop owner will do a custom 5 pack for you if you ask!). Given my ongoing tassel obsession, this one is absolutely perfect to me.

has been nothing short of a creative miracle to my media diet. I consume her content across all platforms and genuinely feel seen by her taste level (Baignoires, Manolos, Chanel, the makeup bags, cashmere socks, vintage Ralph Lauren, Elsa Peretti, it goes on…). It seems like just two years ago a vintage Cartier Baignoire could be sourced secondhand for ~$3,000… now it’s difficult to find one, and when you do, they’re $6,000+. I genuinely think TMD is responsible, and Cartier is smart to keep building a relationship with her.
