Elsa Peretti's Legend, Living On Through My eBay Watchlist
TikTok User @ElsaPerettiLover Reports to the Chat with a Wishlist for the Aspiring Collector
I’ve waxed poetic about my obsession with Elsa Peretti in (probably) every post on this Substack. Everything she’s created resonates with me—whether I already know it or will grow to appreciate it in time. One of my current favorite pieces is my netted bean necklace with a silk tassel (though mine is in white not silver, which seems to be unavailable now 💔). This one is a perfect example of a piece I grew into; I walked past it without a second thought just a few years ago. Now, I reach for it constantly. I can always count on her effortlessly relevant design to work for me eventually.
In September, after writing an advice column for using fashion as a crutch, I documented my growing Elsa collection to support my claims and literally put my money where my mouth is.
Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to add the large Equestrian belt and bean keyring to my dedicated drawer of Tiffany blue boxes.
With that said, a significant portion of my paycheck has gone toward investing in her designs. Now that the 2025 price increase has kicked in, I’m taking a healthy shopping reprieve from Tiffany and turning my attention to her Halston-era work and vintage/secondhand pieces online (IF you see me with a new bone cuff this year… that’s a different story). Below are some pieces I already own on sale as well as wishlist items I hope to eventually move from beyond just sitting in "My Cart".
