Things Niche Luxury Chic Girls Are Obsessed With
à la Caroline Stern's "Things Niche Luxury Hot Girls Are Obsessed With"
Over years of curating my following list and parasocial relationship building, I've found the key to a corner of the internet filled with luxury fashion micro-influencers who seem to have an infinite budget for their closets. Following these women has been as accurate for trend forecasting as BoF or databutmakeitfashion—if not more so—because they’re the ones actually initiating and inspiring the products that eventually trickle down to mainstream algorithms. A very Sasha Colby “your favorite curator’s favorite curator” situation.
Through my observed study of their recent posts, taste levels, and shopping habits, I’ve pulled together some of the most coveted, hyper-specific pieces that the chicest women in the industry are yearning for.

Emanuel Pantanella Minaudière
Known to me by Paris-based vintage curated Merci, c’est vintage, these tiny, sculptural, wooden bird clutches are everything I think Opulent Tips stands for. The tassel addition, fashion’s favorite accoutrement of the moment, is the cherry on top.

Esånt’s Short Pilsen Coat
I have not stopped thinking about this coat since Elizabeth Benz debuted it in December 2022 on a casual pre-flight fit check. From Mexican brand Esånt, “this [novelty wool] piece combines two outerwear essentials with a built-in scarf.” While built-in-scarf coats are everywhere now, this design feels timeless rather than trend-driven—making it a worthwhile investment. Although the photo above is of our beloved Christie Tyler, Elizabeth was the first I saw to post about this… so the reference has to go to her.

Gigi Burris' Laura Hat
By now, it's clear that the pillbox hat is the accessory of the season, but NYC-based milliner Gigi Burris takes it a step further with the Laura hat. I know we're supposed to roll our eyes at people calling garments "pieces" these days, but this truly is one!

Hermès Victoria Bag
Moving into 2025, I believe we’re in alignment that the Birkin (as a hyper-consumed trend) has run its course (hallelujah). Birkins are incredible handbags for their (Togo leather) durability, capacity, craftsmanship, and many more reasons—but it is not the only resolve for someone driven by design, minimalism, or the concept of “quiet luxury.”
The Victoria is a lesser-known Hermès bag that embodies the brand’s quality and chic appeal. With some models priced under $2,000, it's an excellent way to join the Hermès conversation without following the crowd. The Victoria is so (contextually) new to the spotlight that finding a decent photo was a challenge. But, after Elizabeth Benz’s sourcing of this gorgeous purple in November and Andrea Ricci’s co-sign yesterday, I feel confident we’ll start seeing it pop up more and more.
Consider this your cue to invest before prices inevitably soar.

Juju Vera’s Petra Shell Pendant
As a Florida girl, I cannot escape the allure of this shell necklace. Initially, I saw it as the perfect summer accessory, but I've loved seeing it styled for the evening with a low-cut dress or layered over a sweater.

Le Sundial’s Trinity Onyx Tassel Necklace
Similar to the above, except the addition of (yes! another!) tassel. They’re everywhere and I am not mad about it. This handcrafted piece is from a small Italian brand called Le Sundial by Silvia Dusci.

Allyón’s Casilda Pouch
The only item on the list that I already own, this leather pouch makes for the perfect evening bag. Surprisingly (?), it’s a bit like magic and fits much more than you’d imagine. The glass pendant (the brand’s specialty) is the most charming detail.

le—febour’s Everything Bag
This pick is maybe less about anticipated popularity and more about my personal excitement. From the second collection of Canada-based le—febour, their Everything Bag (especially in this butter yellow!!!!) is the solution to my search for Acne Studios Buckle Bag—and it is <$160. Restock is happening tomorrow morning… I suggest setting an alarm.

Timeless Pearly Keychains
Although "over-the-top, uninspired bag charms" made my '2025 Out' list, Timeless Pearly is anything but uninspired. Whimsical, intentional, and personal, Timeless Pearly lets shoppers create their own charms at its Paris flagship. If you're not in Paris and have $300 to spare, you can find a selection of pre-made options available on their website.

I almost can't afford looking at these items but I absolutely adore almost all of them – especially the Petra Shell pendant and the Hermes bag. Thanks for making me feel like a luxury chic girl for a hot minute!
I find juju Vera totally main stream and expected at this point! I loved their chokers but I just can’t do it now. Maybe it’s because I work in influencer marketing … 🫣
